the store in the East Village was absolutely dreamy but devastatingly closed its doors a few years ago after nearly 50 years in business and the passing of its patriarch, Goyal. Saroj is absolutely lovely and still vends around the city, so you can still support this wonderful family business. you won't easily find more beautiful textiles and clothing. it is wearable art!!!
